The bottles are still required to be washed before sterilizing. Your sterilizer may need descaling, we recommend to descale every 4 weeks.
You can sterilize your pacifiers in your closer to nature® sterilizer. Place them on the top shelf of the unit with your nipples and bottle lids and sterilize for the recommended time. You can also sterilize your pacifier in the Steri-Box you purchased the pacifiers in. Simply measure 1fl oz/ 25ml of water in a closer to nature® bottle and pour into the Steri-Box—approximately up to the first oval ring in the front of the steri-box. Place the closed Steri-Box into the microwave. Microwave for a maximum of 90 seconds in an 850-1000 Watt microwave. For microwaves over 1000 watts, reduce the power accordingly. Allow the Steri-Box to cool for at least 2 minutes before handling. Drain the box fully before re-use.
