Ilan Samson - making life better for babies and children

Ilan Samson has been trying to make life better for babies and children since his son was born.

And since son Ophir is now 25 that's a pretty long crusade

Ilan is probably the UK’s only full-time inventor though he has recently moved from London to California to work on his latest invention – a calculator that makes students think: Showing the answer only after the student also entered a reasonable estimate.

But he has been long been linked with Tommee Tippee, working first on our pioneering one handed breast pumps and then more recently on the award-winning easi-vent valve on all our closer to nature teats. Lately it’s been cups that have captured his innovative spirit – and the challenge of making them totally spill proof but easy to drink from for babies, toddlers and children of all ages.
